Thanks for stopping by my Wedding Inspiration blog! Jeff, my college sweetie, proposed during our senior year at Georgetown on Valentine's Day 2008. At that point, we didn't yet have jobs or places to live after graduation, so wedding planning was far from our minds. I started this blog in April 2009, before we even set a date, as a means of collecting pretty wedding images. It has turned into a perfect way to get feedback from my bridesmaids and fellow brides-to-be, as well as a good place to vent my many wedding-related emotions.
In June 2009, I was invited to contribute to the Weddzilla Blog as a featured blogger. As thrilled as I was, and as much as I loved to contribute, the long hours at my job started taking their toll, and after only 7 posts, I felt obligated to resign.
But I've started up again, and am sacrificing sleep in order to ensure that the wedding planning process is fully documented. So many brides comment on how quickly the wedding goes by and how fondly they look back on the planning process, so I am resolving to capture the little elements that make up my wedding plans. Writing in this blog keeps me focused, helps me stay on top of my To Do list, and lets me enjoy and organize all the cool wedding ideas I find. I hope that you get a chance to look around and maybe share an opinion or two!
